Our vision on Privacy

Odin respects your privacy. We appreciate the trust you vest in us and ensure that the personal data you provide us are treated confidential. The data requested on our website, such as e-mail addresses, will solely be used for our provision of services.
We use your personal data in order to process your question or request as expeditiously as possible. This data will exclusively be used with your permission. Odin will never sell your personal data and shall provide them solely to third-parties directly involved in the provision of services. Our employees and any third party we engage are obligated to respect the confidential nature of your personal data.

What constitutes “Personal Data”?

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), personal data is defined as: “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person”. As such this includes, amongst others, your name, phone number or e-mail address. Similarly, the IP-number of your computer or device constitutes personal data as well. Whenever you are in contact with us you will inevitably share personal data with us.

What personal data do we process?

Odin offers a wide scope of services. In order to provide the best possible service, we use several tools which collect, store and process personal data. Please find the different categories of personal data we acquire below:

Who you are: Name, address and e-mail address of your company or foundation. Pursuantly, the names and roles of contacts or representatives of your company are acquired and stored.

Tracking: We want to know whether the content on our website meets the needs of its guests. Tracking scripts are loaded through Google Tag Manager. This tool complies with the provisions of the GDPR.

Google Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how website visitors use the website. This data is kept anonymous and the tool complies with the guidelines from the AVG. This means that we have signed a processing agreement with google. It states that we have disabled the “share data” option and that we do not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

Storage of Data: The website’s forms are used to inform the contact persons of the Business Lines by e-mail of contact requests. In order to prevent any loss of contact requests due to issues with the e-mail(server), a back-up of the data is maintained in the website’s database. This data is deleted after 90 days.

Cookies: Odin uses cookies to run our website, provide our online services and collect the necessary data. Cookies enable us to safe your preferences and settings and offer you ads based on your interests. Cookies also enable you to log in. Additionally, cookies help to combat fraud and allow us to monitor the performance of our website and online services.

For what purpose do we use your data?

Optimizing our services can only be done if we know our clients well. Consequently, we ask for and process personal data. Using such personal data enables us to improve and innovate. Odin aspires for a better, faster and more personalized service and tries to be at the forefront at all times. We make use of your personal data to personalize our services by combining personal data and analysing it. Such analysis provides us new ideas and better solutions. This improves the services we can provide you as a customer.

Marketing activities: We like to inform you by e-mail, newsletters and personalised ads, both on our website as well as third-party websites and social media.
With whom do we share your personal data?
We do not share your personal data with any third-party, unless we are (legally) obligated to do so. Subject to statutory provisions law enforcement and tax authorities may require us to provide them personal data. Additionally, under certain circumstances, a court judge may obligate us to share certain personal data with a third-party. Finally, we may have to share your personal data with third-parties on the basis of an agreement.

This is how we take care of your personal data

We spend a lot of time and money to ensure the security of our systems which includes your personal data. Access to our systems can only be obtained through the use of an username and password combined with a RSA token. We also have a personal data breach procedure this means that we register any data leaks and, if necessary, report this leak to the authority in the Netherlands in charge of the GDPR compliance. If necessary we will also inform the person concerned.

The possibilities concerning data become greater and greater. Due to this fact, the regulations concerning data are always changing. We are currently incorporating the GDPR, yet more change is imminent, our privacy statement is therefore never completely finished.
